As a delivery boy for his father's tofu shop, Takumi has become one of the most skilled drivers in the area. His nights spent behind the wheel of his specially modified Eight-Six have made him a force to be reckoned with on the roads. When the underground street racing scene starts to take notice, Takumi's life kicks into high gear.

The local racing legend Keisuke, a member of the notorious RedSuns team, sets his sights on challenging Takumi. But Keisuke is not the only one - racers from all corners of the region are eager to test their skills against the new kid on the block. One after another, challengers line up to race Takumi, only to be outclassed by his exceptional drifting technique and downhill racing prowess.
